Boil and Bite tooth whitening kits.
Boil and bite home tooth whitening kits are called so because of the mouthpiece that is used in the whitening process. The U shaped mouthpiece is composed of a safe heat and pressure mouldable thermoplastic, similar to sports mouth guards. The trays are moulded by placing them in to hot water for a few seconds until pliable, the mouthpiece is then placed in to the mouth and the wearer sucks the air out while slightly biting down on the tray in order to create an impression of the teeth. Before doing this it is recommended to rinse the mouth out with warm water to acclimatize the teeth to the heat. Individual trays are moulded for both the upper and lower teeth in the same method. The tray should be a tight but comfortable fit and any excess plastic can easily be trimmed off with scissors.

There’s nothing worse than stained teeth – always covering up your mouth in photos and feeling really self-conscious when you smile. Discolouration has two main causes – staining and ageing. There are several ways you can reduce staining – go easy on the coffee and red wine to start with. Smoking, though, is the worst culprit – if you smoke, it’ll show on your teeth. Proper teeth cleaning (don’t forget to floss!) will keep the worst staining at bay and protect your tooth enamel, but if you add a whitening toothpaste and mouthwash, too, you’ll freshen up and brighten your teeth pretty fast.

It’s important that you can take care of your beautiful set of teeth not only to prevent tooth decay but to help you keep that healthy, brilliant smile. If you don’t know where to start, you can take note of these following 5 basic ways:
1. Brush your teeth really well. Teeth brushing is not only for teeth whitening but also for the prevention of tooth decay. This is when bacteria start to “live” into your mouth, gnawing into different layers of your teeth until they can create holes, which you call cavities. If this tooth decay is not prevented, there’s a huge chance that you’ll end up having fake dentures even at a very young age.

In recent years, dental veneers have become popular thanks to their gleaming, beautiful appearance and the ease with which they are applied. Cosmetic dentists regularly perform this procedure as more and more patients are discovering that a bright, beautiful smile is within their reach.
Dental veneers had a bad reputation several years ago, as they appeared unnatural and were often too long or bright to match natural teeth. As cosmetic dentistry has evolved and improved, so too have dental veneers. Now constructed of a translucent ceramic material, they are bright and natural and can be shaped to fit well with natural teeth.

There are plenty of types of cosmetic dentistry that can help you have a brighter, more beautiful smile. So, how do you know if cosmetic dentistry is for you?
Do you have misshapen or crooked teeth?
If your teeth are misshapen cosmetic dentistry could really do a lot for you. Veneers are a great choice for misshapen or crooked teeth. They are thin porcelain sheets that are bonded to the front of the tooth. Once on, they greatly transform the appearance of the teeth. Most often, veneers are used to correct small imperfections on the teeth. If you have slightly crooked teeth, a veneer can make them appear straighte, and in some cases can be used in place of braces. However, very crooked teeth and missing teeth are not candidates for veneers.
